R7 2020 Rally

Here is your access to information about the 2020 Region 7 Rally being held in Marquette, MI August 20 – 25, 2020.   https://region7.airstreamclub.net

We have 55 campsites already spoken for– so the next step for those Airstreamers will be to pay the rally fee.

You may pay your Rally Fee by going to the Region 7 website and selecting one of the listed options.

You will receive a confirmation for your payment, a duplicate of the information you entered, and a great big Thank You from your Region Treasurer, Gail Harrower.

It is an easy way for you to pay and definitely makes our work as rally planners much easier.

So pay and relax. Check out the R7 Website where the Rally flyer is available to download. More info with details will be posted as we get closer to the event.

Here’s a taste: One Yooper has offered to donate wood for our community campfires. Guess who? The Minnesota Airstream Club has agreed to provide coffee urns. Wisc-UP Airstream Club will serve dessert one night. And, a member has offered to perform for us.

Just a taste. Please stay tuned for more info at the Region 7 website!

Christmas Luncheon

Dear Wisconsin Airstreamers!

At our September meeting I stated that the Christmas Luncheon plans were still pending. Well, good news, they are no longer pending. The luncheon is now scheduled to be at The Vintage Brewing Company in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin on Saturday, December 1, at the restaurants opening time of 11:00 AM. We have a reservations for 20 people, but can adjust the number depending on how many of us will really be going. The address is 600 Water Street, Sauk City, WI 53583. The web site of the restaurant/brewery is https://vintagebrewingcompany.com/saukprairie/

You can sign up to go either by emailing me at kurtspda@centurylink.net, or by stating your request to go on our Facebook Page where you can find this event listed under “events” and state if you are going or how many are going. I will try to remind everyone when we get to a week or so before. We will need to get an accurate number so the reservation can be appropriately modified as to the number.

We look forward to getting together, reminiscing about the past year’s travels, and sharing plans for the upcoming year.

Thank you very much, and we look forward to seeing those that make it. My wife and I ate there this past week to try it out, and we think the food was good.
